Illustrations and Portraits of iconic humans. Typically my images are compiled using Acrylic, ink and text media. The Text either printed or hand written gives the viewer a glimpse in to the character and personality of the subject. Most recently my background in Fashion and Fine art have crossed creating portraits utilizing applique and quilting techniques. Some of my earlier collages have been printed on tailored clothing and are available for purchase on VIDA ONB2Bushwick.

Starting with a Photograph, a template is made and light and dark values are marked out. Fabrics are chosen. Each value is cut and then sewn in place.
